In addition to the development and production of new gear units, CABA-BLIND Antriebsaggregate GmbH offers another core service area: gear unit repairs. Our service specialists are capable of professionally testing, analyzing, and repairing virtually any industrial gear unit.
The first step is to completely disassemble the transmission – of course, with precise documentation of the installation situation. Every relevant detail, from the bearing condition to the gearing, is digitally recorded. This enables us to provide a transparent condition assessment at any time – also for our customers.
We manufacture spare parts required for repairs in our in-house machining and gear cutting production or source them exclusively from long-standing, tested, qualified partners.
Before delivery, every repaired gearbox undergoes a comprehensive leak test and a documented test run. All work steps are subject to the clearly defined specifications of our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

REPAIR
In almost all cases, the cheaper option to a new transmission is a transmission repair. This involves digitally recording the delivery condition with regard to installation dimensions. After complete disassembly and cleaning, our specialists conduct a detailed damage analysis of all components. Based on the identified damage, a repair quote is prepared, and after approval, the necessary components are manufactured. After assembly, a leak test and a test run are performed.
